Just like the app itself, the inspiration for this capability came from personal experience. At lunchtime one day, Rene and his companions tried to use an app to find food, only to realize that everyone in the car had dietary considerations. And none of their mobile apps could search or filter upon factors such as no red meat, low carbs, lactose free, etc.
Since the preliminary design for The Ultimate Food App had already started, it occurred to us that it would be a great idea to come up with an app that could take dietary data and locate dishes that meet the user’s requirements.
Restaurants, regardless of their subscription status with us can submit the dietary profiles for no charge.
We plan development of this capability at $135,000.
